Our own Eoin Cadogan retires from intercounty hurling and football

Our own Eoin Cadogan has called time on his inter-county career after 15 years.

Eoin made his debut for the Cork footballers in 2007 after winning an U21 All-Ireland but lined out for the hurlers the following year.

Eoin spent six years (2008-2012 and 2014) as one of a select number of inter-county dual players before alternating between the two sides in recent years.

Eoin won an All-Ireland SFC title in 2010, three Allianz Football League crowns and Munster titles in 2009 and 2012 as well as representing Ireland in international rules.

In hurling, Eoin won Munster titles in 2014 and 2018 and played in August’s All-Ireland final defeat to Limerick .

Eoin continues to make a massive contribution at Douglas GAA club where it all began almost 30 years ago.

Best wishes Eoin from everyone at the Club.
