Today at 3pm in Ballinlough, two Douglas Junior B teams play each other in the City Football Final and its a battle of Youth versus Experience
The Managers
Luke’s has managed this team B2 for 2 years. Eddie has managed over 100 teams including Ladies Football to championship victories.
Youth Junior B1
Eddie B1 has youth but very little experience average age is about 19. In fact, only 5 players are over 21 which include Andrew Cullihane, Aoran Mullin, Shane Buckley, Conor O Donoghue and Cathal Deasy. On the way to the final B1 totally outclassed Rathpeacon & then St Michaels in the semi-finals.

Experience Junior B2
Luke has former senior players such as Johnnie Farrell, Pa Tobin, Willie Coveney, Dave Mc Sweeney, Cillian Hogan & Michael Lyons to call upon, average age of squad is about 30. B2 beat Mayfield and then outplayed Nemo in the semi-final.

Both teams played some great football in their respective semi finals no doubt our Senior Manager Ray Keating and Junior A Manager Tom Sheehan will be closely watching this game for new talent.
Whoever wins will represent Seandun in the county B championship next Saturday Sat, Nov 6th @2pm JBFC Div. QF Douglas A or B v Avondhu winners in Grenagh.
