Children’s Officers Update
While many are enjoying the break from games, this time of year can be very busy for many volunteers in the club. None more so than the Children’s Officer Team. The work here is hidden to most but is critical to the safe operation of the club. Under law and regulation there is a requirement that all mentors and coaches that work with Children are Vetted by the Gardaí. As a club we take this responsibility very seriously and the Children’s Officer Team are tasked with the responsibility of implementing this requirement. Across the club there are hundreds of mentors and coaches that this applies to. Full compliance protects everybody.
First Final of the Year
We have a very early first final of the year. Our U21A Footballers face Nemo in the Seandún final after having beaten the current reigning champions Bishopstown in a very entertaining match. See match report in the link below. Throw in at 11.30 on Sunday in Ballinlough. Get out and support the lads.
