Update on Clubhouse Re-Development

To all our members,

Whilst we are very close to having everything done on the bar & toilets, unfortunately we need to tell you that we will not open on Friday 26th November as planned.

The good news is that the we have a new Clubhouse Manager in place, have some new part time staff hired, bar toilets are complete, the bar painting is done , a new floor has been put down in the bar and new lighting has been installed in the bar.

Work still in progress is the upholstery of the seats, sanding and varnishing of the bar counter, reworks for compliance with Fire Officer requirements, bar layout & booking system for Covid compliance and significantly the installation of a new fuse board is not yet completed. Without power to test all the equipment/coolers etc., we felt it necessary to postpone the opening.

We are now awaiting a completion program from the main builder and electrician and will give a further update when we can put a concrete timeline in place.

We prioritized the bar fit out at the expense of the function room, coffee dock and Food & Beverage offering and will update you on these timelines when the bar is completed.

We are appreciate your patience and assure you that we are doing everything we can to get the doors back open as soon as possible.

Thanks you,

Clubhouse Sub-Committee
