Membership plans and rates

Changes from last year include

  1. The Club Development Levy is now factored into each membership
    • At one rate (€45) per player, and a reduced rate (€22.50) per non-player
    • This is necessary to fund our Club Development Plan. Click here to see more about the club development plan.
    • There is now no per-household levy
  2. The subsidy for rental of external pitches (specifically Douglas Community School and Redmonds’ GAA club) is now factored into every playing membership
    • At a flat rate of €15 per player – applies to both adults and juveniles
    • There is now no mandatory and charged membership for parents of juveniles
  3. There is a single rate for all players – the same rate for adults and juveniles
    • That rate is €150, including the €45 CDP Levy and the €15 pitches subsidy
  4. As such, we no longer need a separate membership plan to distinguish between adult students and adult non-students
    • The school you attend is now an optional field on the Adult Player plan
  5. There are discounts for families that register multiple players in one transaction (whether juveniles or adult players)
    • See the table below
    • If you do not register all players in your family in a single transaction, you will not receive this discount
  6. We aim to apply a maximum rate per family of €500
    • but this cannot be applied through Clubforce, so we will refund families that spend more than this amount on membership in one year

  7. Full membership for parents & guardians is no longer bundled with juvenile membership
    • Parents & guardians of juvenile players (only) will receive social membership of the club at no extra cost
  8. Those parents & guardians of registered players who wish to procure full membership can do so for a nominal fee
    • For this, we offer the Registered Parent/Guardian plan
    • This is available for parents of any players – whether juvenile or adult
    • This should be added to the cart and the form filled even if you have provided your details as parent of a Juvenile
      • Failure to do so will mean you only have social membership

Discounts for multiple players (juvenile or adult)

  • 1 player will cost €150
  • 2 players will cost €280; that’s €140 on average
  • 3 players will cost €390; that’s €130 on average
  • 4 players will cost €480; that’s €120 on average
  • 5 players will cost €500; that’s €100 on average

Where does my €150 go?

  • 30% (€45) goes towards mandatory overheads, as a member of a national sporting body
  • 30% (€45) is a levy towards the Club Development Plan
  • 10% (€15) goes towards the rental of external pitches at Douglas Community School and Redmonds’ GAA club
  • Leaving 30% (€45) for the general running of three clubs and many teams, and maintenance of facilities

As in previous years, please note that we don’t want to exclude anyone on the basis of cost. So if the rates are such that you cannot pay (in one payment or three instalments), please reach out to your head coach or any of the registrars (email addresses listed below). They can discreetly pass on the request to the relevant registrar, who will issue a discount coupon to be used at registration.

  • You do not need to create an account on Clubforce; you may log in using your google or facebook accounts, or even by SMS
