Minors book County Final place

Sep
04

Our Minor footballers have booked their place in this years County Minor Football Championship Final.

At CIT last night they over came the challenge of Ballincollig in the second game of a championship double header, with the St Finbarrs seeing of Bishopstown in the other semi final in the first game of the evening.

The boys showed very impressive form in taking control of the game right from the off. They built a strong lead early on, playing very impressive and flowing football. This is a lead that they held all the way through to the final whistle.

Well Done Rebecca Sheehan

Sep
02

Congratulations to Rebecca Sheehan on playing a leading role in the Cork U16B Camogie team who ran out winners in the All Ireland final yesterday.

The final, which was a very close and tight game, saw Cork came out on top against a very strong Waterford side. This is a deserved reward for the huge level dedication and commitment to training both with her Douglas Camogie teams and also with the Cork squads. Well done Rebecca.
